Refunds & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for LoveMates subscriptions and Energy purchases. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Subscriptions
- Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
- You can cancel anytime from Settings → Manage subscription. Your plan — including daily Energy and access to paid models — remains active until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- We do not provide pro-rata refunds for partial periods after a renewal, except where required by law.
2. Energy
- Energy is a virtual item with no monetary value. Energy already spent on a generation is non-refundable.
- If a generation fails due to a technical error on our side, the Energy for that generation is automatically refunded to your balance.
- One-time top-up purchases of Energy that remain entirely unused may be eligible for a refund within 14 days of purchase, at our discretion.
3. Statutory withdrawal rights (EU/UK)
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from purchases of digital content. By starting to use Energy (digital content delivered immediately), you request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once Energy has been used. Unused purchases may still be eligible as described above.
4. How to request a refund
Email hello@lovemates.ai from the address associated with your account, including the approximate date and amount of the purchase. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method via Stripe and may take several business days to appear.
5. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first — we're happy to help. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in suspension of your account.
