Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses LoveMates. It exists to keep the Service safe and lawful. Breaching it may result in immediate removal of content, suspension or termination of your account, and, where appropriate, reporting to law enforcement.
1. Zero-tolerance content
You must never use the Service to create, upload or share content that:
- Sexualizes, exploits or endangers minors in any way. We report child sexual abuse material (CSAM) to the relevant authorities.
- Depicts a real, identifiable person in a sexual or intimate manner without their consent (including non-consensual "deepfake" imagery).
- Promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or incites violence against people or groups.
2. Prohibited uses
You also agree not to use the Service to:
- Impersonate or misrepresent a real person, or create content intended to deceive (e.g. fake identities, fraudulent documents, misinformation).
- Upload photos of other people without their permission.
- Harass, defame, threaten, or violate the privacy or publicity rights of others.
- Create content that is hateful or discriminatory based on protected characteristics.
- Infringe intellectual-property rights, including generating content using others' trademarks or copyrighted characters without authorization.
- Generate content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or facilitates illegal activity.
- Attempt to bypass safety filters, rate limits, or technical protections, or to reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service.
- Use automated means to access the Service except as expressly permitted.
3. Transparency of AI content (EU AI Act)
Avatars created with LoveMatesare AI-generated. Under the EU AI Act (Article 50), AI-generated or manipulated images of real people ("deepfakes") and certain synthetic media must be disclosed as artificially generated. Where you publish Output, you must not misrepresent it as an authentic photograph of real events or people, you must keep any AI-provenance markers intact, and you must comply with applicable AI-disclosure laws and platform rules.
4. Your responsibility
You are responsible for the Input you provide and the Output you create, distribute or publish. You must ensure you have the rights to your Input and that your use of Output complies with this AUP and applicable law.
5. Reporting illegal content & enforcement (DSA)
To report content or behaviour that is illegal or violates this AUP, email hello@lovemates.ai. This is our designated point of contact for notices under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), for both users and authorities. We review reports, act expeditiously against illegal content once we are aware of it, and may investigate, remove content, restrict visibility or suspend accounts. Where we act on your content, we aim to give a statement of reasons, and you may contest a decision by replying to that address.
